DOROTHY E. SEYMOUR

    On the evening of Saturday, October 3^rd, 2015, Dorothy E. Seymour, formerly of Athens, passed away quietly at Dar Way Elder Care in Forksville.  She was 84 years of age.  Dorothy was born in Towanda April 12^th, 1931.  She was married to  the late William Raymond, and later to John Seymour.  Dorothy was a friendly, outgoing person who enjoyed socializing with her circle of friends, and enjoyed the company of her beloved family.  She was never afraid to voice her opinion, and always ready to help others.

  She is survived by her sons, George Raymond, Jr. and Oliver W. Raymond, both  of Columbia Cross Roads, Thomas (& Whitney) Raymond of Missouri, Howard Raymond of Athens, daughters Janie (& Roger) Thomas of  East Smithfield, Dorothy Ann Wilson of Athens and Donna Yusichek.  Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to her two husbands, she was preceded in death by brothers Kenny, Dan and Warren Strope, sisters Mattie and Florence Strope and a son, Guy Raymond.   I keeping with the family’s wishes all services are private (morseandkleesefuneralhome.com)
