One of the oldest, continuous funeral establishments in North Central Pennsylvania, the locally owned and operated Morse & Kleese Funeral Home, Inc. is located in the Borough of Canton. Since its founding in 1880, Morse & Kleese has provided the families of Bradford, Sullivan, Lycoming and Tioga counties with the finest of services during their most difficult times. The present owner, Kenneth H. Robertson, continues this commitment to the community. Since purchasing the firm in 1998, Ken has declared himself and Morse and Kleese to a mission of compassionate and understanding service designed to fit each family's financial level. Ken is able to provide affordable, dignified services within everyone's means. At no additional cost, funeral services may be conducted from any location that is convenient to you.

About Kenneth H. Robertson


Kenneth H. Robertson is a native of Philadelphia's Germantown section. He has been working in the funeral profession since 1968 and has been licensed in Pennsylvania since 1971. In 1998 he earned his New York State license as well. His vast experience, knowledge, and expertise are derived from his having worked for America's oldest funeral directors, Kirk & Nice; Philadelphia's largest firm, Goldstein's, Rosenberg's and Raphael-Sacks, Inc., and everywhere in between. He is experienced in a vast array of different ethnic and religious funeral customs, as well as the domestic and international shipping of human remains.


Ken is very active in his community as well. He is a member of the Canton Ecumenical Parish where he serves as Lay Leader and a Sunday School teacher. He is an elected member of the Canton Borough Council, vice president of the Canton Area Chamber of Commerce, member of the Gideons International, Canton Lion's Club, Canton Lodge 415 F&AM, Canton Chapter 71 O.E.S., Canton Lodge 429 Loyal Order of Moose, as well as several other civic and service related organizations. Ken also supports the local scouting programs, local varsity and junior level sports, as well as the local little league and pop warner organizations. He is a well known patron of the arts and contributes to the Canton area drama and music programs.
