PHYLLIS (D'ELIA) CARSON

Phyllis M. Carson, 88, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2024. Phyllis was born in Philadelphia but spent many years living and raising her three sons, Michael, Richard & David in Jenkintown, PA with her husband Albert. She always worked in various secretarial positions along with raising a family. She was also very involved with the Pioneer Fire Co. ladies auxiliary in Jenkintown. In the early 1990’s she moved to the Pocono’s with her youngest son David and continued to work as a reservationist for Ceasar’s Pocono Resorts until her official retirement. While in the Pocono’s, she volunteered with the Lakeville Fire Co. as treasurer and was also a township auditor. In 2008, she again moved with her son David to Canton, PA where she enjoyed making new friends and volunteering at the American Rescue Workers store. She finally settled in Loyalsock Township by herself in her own apartment and enjoyed that area as well. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert and son Richard. Calling hours will be from noon to 1 at the Morse & Kleese Funeral Home in Canton on Saturday, February 10, 2024 followed by a celebration of life.
