Marcella Marie (Carl) Buck

Marcella Marie (Carl) Buck age 94, of Canton died peacefully at her daughter’s home Kathy and Bill Page to go home to her Lord and Savior on April 14,2023 

Marcella was born October 8,1928 at her family home on Sullivan St. She was the daughter of the late Horace and Florence (Williams) Carl . 

Marcella attended grade schools at Grover, Alba, Beech Flats, Columbia Crossroads and Canton High School. She had many school friends. 
She enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, and puzzles. Marcella also enjoyed fiddling and dancing with her husband.  Also, her daily reading of The Bible (The Good Book). 
She worked in the sewing factories in Canton and Williamsport, she also worked 12 years in the Box Factory in Canton, until she retired in 1981 due to health  issues. 

She married Thuryl Dean Buck in 1946 they had a remarkable long marriage until his passing in 2016. Marcella and Dean enjoyed camping all through the 80’s and 90’s. They met many nice and friendly campers. Marcella enjoyed playing her fiddle and dancing with Dean at local events. They enjoyed many years of bliss together. Marcella welcomes the call from Heaven peacefully to reunite with Dean in their new home.  

Marcella attended the Church of Christ in Grover they also attended God’s Missionary Church in Allenwood Pa many years ago.  

Surviving is her sister Eloise Caseman and brother in law Dave Matthews.  

Deceased relatives are Mable(John) Belawski, Eleanor(Ken) Schmouder, Doris(Dick) Foust and Richard Caseman.  

Marcella left behind many descendants and are as follows:  

5 children 

12 grandchildren  

29 great grandchildren  

19 great great grandchildren
