ACQUELINE WESNESKI
On December 4, 2023, Jacqueline Wesneski, of Canton,, passed away peacefully at Robert Packer Hospital. She was 90 years of age. Born in Elmira, New York, on August 30, 1933, she was the daughter of Glen and Leah Bailey, and was their last surviving child. Jacqueline grew up with a strong work ethic. As a young woman she took a job with the foundry in Blossburg. It was here that she met her husband, Robert L. Wesneski. Together they raised nine children. Jacqueline was the consummate homemaker who enjoyed cooking and baking especially for others. Her culinary expertise was widely known in the Canton area. She enjoyed her TV soap operas and old country music, which could be heard emanating from her radio all hours of the day. She also loved to read, especially her Bible. Although not affiliated with any particular church, Jackie was well versed in scripture and had a deep abiding faith in the Lord. She is survived by her children, Bobby (& Donna) Wesneski, Gordon (& Karen) Wesneski, Sandy (& Charles) Kilmer, Larry (& Laurie) Wesneski, Walter John (& Lorena) Wesneski, Danny Wesneski, Paul Wesneski, Loren (& Jennie) Wesneski, daughter-in-law Beverly Wesneski, step-sons, Gene (& Edwina) Wesneski and Tink (& Peg) Wesneski, special friend, Lisa Liberati, and special sister-in-law, Mary Bailey, of Troy. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert and son David Wesneski. In keeping with Jacqueline's expressed wishes, all services are private. Interment will be in Morris Run..
