Cody Drew Wesneski of Canton Township is now at peace after years of battling addiction. He passed away Wednesday, May 23rd, 2018 at the age of 26 years. Born in Towanda March 13th, 1992, he was the son of David and Beverly (Harris) Wesneski. He was a graduate of Canton Area High School and was employed at South Mount Farms. Cody was a lover of the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, especially with a bow. He also enjoyed four-wheeling, Penn State wrestling and watching his favorite NFL team, the New York Giants. He made friends easily and was always ready and willing to lend a hand when needed, and cherished the moments that he spent with his little daughter.
Cody is survived by his fiancée Brooke Ostrander and their son-to-be Tucker Drew Wesneski of Troy, daughter Layla Jean Wesneski of Covington, brothers David (Hannah) Wesneski, Jr. of Roaring Branch, Jordan (Ashley) Andrus and Derek (Shauna) Wesneski, all of Canton, special friends Mark & Tammy Shedden and family, special friends Ray and Mary Gordner, special canine friends Shadow and Yeager, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be 6 to 8 PM Wednesday, May 30th, at Morse and Kleese Funeral Home, Inc., 94 N. Center Street, Canton, with services to follow at 8 PM.
