SCOTT H. CAMPBELL
During the early morning of Thursday, March 28th, 2018, longtime Troy resident Scott H. Campbell passed away at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre. He was 59 years of age. Born in Morocco, North Africa, on May 24th, 1958, he was the son of Richard M. and Rae L. (Chapman) Campbell. The family relocated to Puget Sound, Washington, where Scott resided until enlisting in the U. S. Army. It was while stationed at Ft. Bragg, NC, that he met Constance Mayers, who was also a soldier, and in time the two were united in marriage, sharing 32 years and raising a daughter and son. Scott enjoyed spending time with his children. He was a fan of hockey, football and NASCAR, and was fond of fishing and camping. He was a man with a quick sense of humor and friendly demeanor, always laid back and nothing seemed to phase him.
Scott is survived by his wife, Connie, at home, daughter Christina Lynn Campbell of Orlando, FL, son Jacob S. Campbell of Canton, brother Douglas Campbell of the Philippines, nephews Colin, Shane and Sean Campbell. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Rae Campbell and sister Linda Campbell.
In keeping with Scott’s expressed wishes there will be no public visitation or services. Professional services were entrusted to Morse & Kleese Funeral Home, Inc. of Canton. (morseandkleesefuneralhome.com)
