James Kerns Obituary
James William Kerns of Gillett, Pa., passed away at his residence on February 24, 2019, just two days before his 71st birthday. Born February 26, 1948, he was the son of the late Howard W. and the late Marion B. Kerns. He earned his living as a professional truck driver, but in his younger days he thrilled audiences with his skills as a race car driver. Jim will be sadly missed but will always remain in the hearts of those who knew him. He is survived by his children, Wendy Menard of Ambler, Pa., Jamie Winter of Perkasie, Pa., James Kerns Jr. of Blossburg, Pa., grandchildren Curtis Churchman, Ashley Class and Matthew Bosch, siblings Dolores Maersh of Green Lane, Pa., Janet Hahn of Ohphlir, Oregon, Gail Schlegel-Adcock of Quakertown, Pa., Cheryl Brace and Shay Kerns-Barr, both of Mainesburg, Pa., Lisa Eveland of Quakertown and Howard Michael Kerns of Georgia. He was preceded in death by parents Howard W. and Marion B. Kerns and daughter Tammy Lynn Kerns.
