IRENE MARTIN GOOD

Irene Martin Good of Canton, age 85, went to be with Jesus on January 28th, 2019. She was born December 27th, 1933 in Lancaster, Pa. Irene was married to the late Melvin Good on April 20th, 1957. They celebrated 59 years of marriage before Melvin's passing in October of 2016. Irene served countless people and ministries through her hospitality. She provided many warm meals and beds on short notice. Irene served beside Melvin to help on the farm, hosting the Glory Barn, pastoring and managing MMM Good Bed and Breakfast. She also helped with prison ministry at Bradford County prison for many years and with New Beginnings Ministry.

Irene is survived by her four sons and their wives, Jay and Faye Good, Canton, PA, Clair and Beth Good, Kenya, Africa, Clifford and Cheryl Good, Muncy, PA and Jeff and Denise Good, East Berlin, PA.

Irene is also survived by her 16 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, her brothers Clarence Martin and Harold Martin and sister Edna Weaver. Irene was predeceased by her husband, Melvin, her brother, Raymond Martin and her sister Mae Horst.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, Feb 3rd, at North Street Community Church at 177 North Street in Canton PA at 1:30 p.m. Immediately following the service there will be a time of visitation and fellowship with family and friends. Burial will be in the East Canton Cemetery at the family's convenience.
