Miles Rodney Pratt

MILES R. PRATT

   On the morning of Friday, April 17^th, 2015, Miles Rodney Pratt of East Canton passed away quietly at Bradford County Manor.  He was 84 years of age.   Born in Canton on March 17^th, 1931, he was the son of  Leland and Anna (Dexter) Pratt.  Miles grew up in Granville Township and was a graduate of Troy High School.  For most of his life he was a farmer and was active in the Grange; first with the Granville Grange, and later with Union Grange in West Burlington.  He was always happiest when working, but he did take the time to enjoy hunting and motor bike racing.  He was a man of faith who had been a longtime member of the former East Granville Baptist Church.  Most of all, he loved the company of his family and friends.

   Miles is survived by his brothers Richard (& Joyce) Pratt of Troy, Gerald (& Marjorie) Pratt of Windfall, Paul (& Patricia) Pratt of Burgettstown, Pa., sister Dorothy (& Lawrence) Stone of Canton and twelve nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Leland and Anna Pratt.

   A celebration of Miles’ life will take place 2 o’clock p.m. Saturday, May 2^nd, at Windfall United Methodist Church.  Professional services have been entrusted to Morse & Kleese Funeral Home, Canton.
