JANE E. BROWN

       On the afternoon of February 6^th, 2017, Jane Emma Brown of Canton Township passed away quietly at her residence with her beloved family at her side.  She was 76 years of age.  Born April 10^th, 1940 in Philadelphia, Pa., she was the daughter of Cyrus B. and Pauline (Moss) Niblett.  She grew up in Philadelphia and met her husband, Keith Richard Brown, while he was stationed at the Philadelphia Naval Base.  They were married May 14^th, 1960 and moved to Runnemede,  New Jersey where they raised two daughters and shared 28 years together until Keith’s passing in 1988.  Jane enjoyed working her vegetable garden where she raised fine, Jersey tomatoes.  In recent years, as health issues got the better of her, Jane moved to Bradford County to be closer to her family.  She was  a lifelong communicant of the Roman Catholic faith and drew strength from her faith in the Lord Jesus  during life’s trials and tribulations. 

   Jane is survived by her daughters,  Joanne (& Ken) Biggs of Canton,  Lorraine (& Frank) Hovatter of North Carolina,  and grandchildren Joshua, Jacob, Katherine, Katrina  and Jessica and Kenneth Jr.    

    A memorial mass was celebrated at St. Michael’s Roman catholic Church on Friday, February 10^th.  Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Blackwood, NJ.
