Harry Edmond Lund

H. EDMOND LUND, JR.

    H. Edmond Lund, jr., son of Harry E. Lund and Lida (Sill) Lund  and a longtime Canton resident passed away June 30, 2016.  He was 92 years of age.  Ed had resided at the Bradford County Manor since December of 2015, and for the previous sixteen years was a resident of the Sherwood Retirement & Personal Care Home in Canton.  He enjoyed the many years he resided at Sherwood’s.  Ed had attended the Canton schools and was a member of the Canton Ecumenical Parish.  He was also a former member of the Canton Odd Fellows Lodge and a retiree of Canford Manufacturing in Canton. In previous years his interests included hunting, fishing, gardening and traveling. 

   He is survived by his cousins, Fred, Steve, Ruth, Charles and Bruce Sill, Kathleen Nelsen, Joy Brann, Carol Ann Becker and Patti Pessoni. 

  A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 16^th,  11:00 A.M.  at Morse & Kleese Funeral Home, 94 N. Center St., Canton, with Pastor Jerry Schmidt officiating.  There will be a time of visitation from 10 to 11 A.M.   Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Towanda.
