For anyone who yearns to hear Candy speak to them one more time or for the first time, she expressed her approach to life with wisdom beyond her 18 years as follows in the CHS Class of 1977 'Minnequan' Yearbook:

Dear Members of the Moyer and Brown Families:

Speaking for the entire CHS Class of 1977 I wish you and yours sincere sympathies upon the passing of Candy. There weren't any names between Moyer and Mullen so she and I were seated next to each other in homeroom for I-don't-know-how-many years. She had a heart of gold and a smile that could light up a room. God must have been jealous for her company for a long time. Take comfort in knowing that she is now back in His loving arms.
