Beatrice Carrie (Woodward) Randall

            BEATRICE RANDALL

  On the morning of Tuesday, May 17th, 2016, well-known Canton resident Beatrice Carrie (Woodward) Randall passed away quietly with her beloved family at her side.   She was 86 years of age.  Born July 29th, 1929 in Ward Township Tioga County, she was the daughter of  John and Minnie (Rudy) Woodward.   She was married to Ollie David Randall with whom she raised  three children.  Ollie passed away in 2012.    Throughout her adult life Beatrice worked outside the home as well as being a homemaker.  She worked as a nurse’s aid, then as a machine operator for the former Belmar Company in Canton and later Canton Manufacturing.  She was always an active person and enjoyed the company of family and friends.  She also enjoyed gardening, baking, tending to her cats and feeding and watching the birds.  She was known for being a caring and helping person, for her sense of humor and her outspokenness.   She was a woman of faith, and attended various area churches with her family.    Beatrice was persistent  in her love and caring for others, even when they failed.  Her love was unconditional.

  She is survived by her three children, Mary Brown, Katherine (& James) Barber and Daniel (& Rebecca) Randall, four grandchildren Harry (& Sara) Wolcott,  Brenda Wolcott Sawtell, Dana Randall Kimble (& husband Levi), Brian Bacon.  Also survived by Dana Kimble’s mother Carol Randall and Carol’s son, Bryson, as well as 14 great-grandchildren and longtime family friend Melodie Gum, as well as many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.   She was preceded in death by sisters Leatha Kohler, Lealtha Dunbar, Leona Jenkins and Delores Sjoblom, brother William Woodward, grandson Daniel Randall and parents John and Minnie Woodward.

     Visitation will be 5 O’clock P.M.  Friday, May 20th, at Morse & Kleese Funeral Home, 94 N. Center Street, Canton.  Service will follow at 6  O’clock with Pastor Mike  Giaotti  officiating.
