Alexis Ruth Monro

                                  Alexis Ruth (Binford) Monro, 69

Alexis Ruth (Binford) Monro, 69, went home to be with Our Lord Jesus on October 8^th, 2015. Born in Elmira, NY, she was the daughter of Theron and Ruth (Tunning) Binford and was a graduate of Troy High School. Alexis was a wonderful loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was known by her grandchildren as NuNu. Her greatest love was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Alexis was well known as being a very hard worker and an excellent cook. She loved attending her church, Victory Church. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Gary Monro; children Sharlett Monro of Troy, Gary Monro, Jr. of Troy, and Jason and (Heidi) Monro; grandchildren Dana Anderson of St. Petersburg, FL, Jay Anderson of Troy, Owen Monro of Troy and Mya Monro of Troy; brothers Theron and (Sally) Binford, Charles and (Helen) Binford; sister Virginia and (Lyle) Wells; also nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be a private funeral service to honor her life with Pastor Josh Payne officiating. Alexis will be laid to rest at The Glenwood Cemetery.
