LOLA KELTZ
On the evening of Friday, January 19th, 2018, while at her Canton Township home, Lola Faye (Vanderpool) Keltz was welcomed into the arms of her Abba Father following a protracted, but courageous, battle with a debilitating disease. She was 63 years of age. Born March 1st, 1954 in Towanda, she was the daughter of Garfield and Ellen (Ayres) Vanderpool. Lola was a 1971 graduate of Towanda High School, and a graduate of Divine Providence Hospital’s school of nursing. Her nursing career spanned thirty years until health issues forced her into early retirement. She also operated an antique business and enjoyed gardening, quilting and being with family. Lola was a woman with an unshakable faith in the Lord. Throughout the lowest times of her life she always trusted in Him to see her through. Now she has completed the race, but her journey continues………in rest. (Psalm 4:8)
Lola is survived by her husband, Dale, at home, sons Matthew A. (& Carolyn) Taylor of Massachusetts and Thaddeus M. (& Cynthia) Taylor of Coudersport, daughter Shannon M. (& James) Wecker of Monroeton, brothers Gregg Vanderpool of New Albany and Mitchell Vanderpool of Monroeton, grandchildren Hanna, Quinn, Adalee, Avery, Sophie, Elin, and August, stepdaughter Dalisa Thrasher of Collegeville Pa. and Ruth Polski of Florida, four step-granddaughters and two step great-granddaughters .
In keeping with Lola’s expressed wishes there will be no public visitation or services. (morseandkleesefuneralhome.com)
